What it costs

Shipping within the lower 48 states is a flat $75 on used and vintage instruments, regardless of size or distance. New and B-stock gear ships free. The rate you see on the product page is the rate you pay at checkout — there is no separate handling charge.

Where we ship

Online checkout serves the lower 48 United States. We do ship internationally and to Alaska and Hawaii, but the cost depends on the instrument and the destination, so those are quoted individually — use the enquiry form on any product page and we will come back to you with a total.

How it ships

Instruments travel in a hard case where one exists, boxed with the neck supported and the headstock immobilised. Shipments are insured for the full purchase price and tracked. We email you the tracking details as soon as the label is made.

Orders placed before the shop closes usually go out within two business days. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.

If it arrives damaged

Photograph the box before you unpack it and call us the same day. Insured shipments are straightforward to resolve when the packaging is documented, and we handle the carrier claim ourselves — that is not your job.

Local pickup

You are always welcome to collect in person at the shop and skip shipping entirely. Mention it in an enquiry before you buy and we will hold the instrument for you.
